CHRISTCHURCH

Christchurch Airport

Pick up Instructions

  • Upon arrival into Christchurch International Airport please Phone +64 3 357 2000 or Cell/WhatsApp +64 22 6558773 to advise you have arrived.
  • We will meet you in your chosen rental car outside DOOR 2 of the DOMESTIC end of the airport terminal building and cross the crossing to the courtesy rental car & shuttle pick up zone. We will have a magnetic sign on your car doors with EURO CAR RENTAL logo so you can spot us easily. Your luggage will go straight into the boot of your car so no double handling. We will take you to the Euro Car Rental office nearby.
  • At the Office we will complete the paperwork. Please ensure you have your full and valid drivers licence (international translation if it is not in English), primary driver's credit/debit card for your chosen bond (insurance excess). We will show you over your car, record pre-existing damage, show you over the controls of your car and pair your phone to the hands free car system.

Note - after hour flights are met for a call out fee.

Returning Instructions

  • During business hours 8-5 return to the office at 6 Lake Bryndwr Lane, Burnside, Christchurch.
  • Ensure the fuel tank is full
  • If the vehicle is excessively dirty (can’t tell the colour of it or it has lots of mud) please take through a car wash so your vehicle can be fully inspected for damage upon return.
  • Advise us of any incident involving damage to the car and complete the accident form in glovebox.
  • Euro staff will inspect the interior and exterior and any new damage will be managed in accordance with the rental agreement.
  • We will return you to the airport for your connecting flight in your car or if able take you back to your guest home or hotel.

If arranged to return to airport after hours - park in short term car park and send a picture of where it is parked to 021 655 8773 if able.

QUEENSTOWN

Queenstown Address

Pick up Instructions

  • Upon arrival into Queenstown International Airport please phone +64 27 3646471 to advise you have arrived safely. We will come down to meet you in our courtesy van and bring you around to the office nearby.
  • Please ensure you have a full and valid drivers licence in English (or international English translation) and the credit/debit card is in the name of the driver. Also please have a copy of your rental booking with you.
  • Our staff will verify your drivers licence and the drivers credit/debit card and signature and will walk around the vehicle together for a pre-rental inspection.

Queenstown Returns

  • Drive to 1 Sutherland Lane, Frankton, Queenstown (off Glenda Drive)
  • Ensure the fuel tank is full.
  • If the vehicle is excessively dirty (can’t tell the colour of it or it has lots of mud) please take through a car wash so your vehicle can be fully inspected for damage upon return.
  • Advise us of any incident involving damage to the car and complete the accident form in glovebox.
  • Staff will inspect interior and exterior. Any new damage will be managed in accordance with the rental agreement
    Staff will take you back to the Queenstown International Airport for your connecting flight

PICTON

Picton Arrivals

  • Upon arrival into Picton via the ferry please call +64 3357 2000 to advise you have arrived and are ready for your rental car. We will meet you off the Ferry or by prior arrangement deliver your chosen vehicle to your guest house or hotel
  • Please ensure you have a full and valid drivers licence in English (or international English translation) and show the staff member your credit/debit card.
  • We will complete the rental agreement and walk you around your rental car together for a pre-rental inspection and show you how to use the controls and pair your phone to the hands free phone and google/android system.

Picton Returns

  • Ensure the fuel tank is full and remove all personal belongings.
  • Advise us of any incident involving damage to the car and complete the accident form in glovebox.
  • If the vehicle is excessively dirty (can’t tell the colour of it or it has lots of mud) please take through a car wash so your vehicle can be fully inspected for damage upon return.
  • Euro staff will inspect the interior and exterior and any new damage will be managed in accordance to the rental agreement.
